My creative world
Hi, welcome to my website, my name is Gabriela Larios. I am a London based artist and illustrator, I obtained an MA from Camberwell College of Arts in 2007 thanks to an Alban Scholarship. I create art and illustrations for picture books, textiles, homeware, fabric, furniture, stationery and ceramics. My creative world derives from my passion in storytelling, folk art, the natural world and patterns. There is a naive, poetic and playful spirit captured in my art and a strong connection between memories of my childhood in El Salvador and my body of work: tortoises, fish, plants, insects, plants and all the creatures and elements found in my work. I believe after many years of honing my skills, I have somehow developed an imaginative world of my own and it is a pleasure to share it with you through this website.
Thanks for your visit!
